FAQs
Questions, answered plainly.
What people usually ask before working with us. If yours is not here, just ask.
01
Working together
Who we work with and how a conversation with us begins.
Who do you work with?
Businesses, founders and teams who are serious about what they are building. That includes established companies that need better digital tools, as well as early products that need to be built properly from the start.
Do you take on smaller projects?
Yes. Good software should not be reserved for companies with huge budgets. What matters is that the problem is real and the project is worth building well, not the size of the company behind it.
How do we get started?
Get in touch and tell us what you are working on, where things currently stand and what you need next. From there we have a conversation to understand the problem before talking about solutions.
Who will I be speaking to?
The people actually doing the work. Questions, decisions and technical conversations stay close to the engineers building your product, so fewer things get lost along the way.
02
What we build
The kinds of work we take on and how we choose the technology.
What do you build?
E-commerce experiences, custom software, websites, mobile and web products, integrations and automation, plus ongoing engineering for products that need to keep evolving. The problems differ, but the engineering mindset is the same.
Can you work on a product that already exists?
Yes. Sometimes the right answer is a new product and sometimes it is improving what you already have. We look at your existing systems first and recommend whichever makes more sense.
Do you build on Shopify or custom?
Both. We have built on Shopify, including custom storefronts, and we build fully custom commerce platforms. The right choice depends on what you sell, how you operate and how much the product needs to grow.
What technology do you use?
We choose technology based on what the product needs, not what happens to be fashionable. Much of our work uses React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, with React Native for mobile, but the stack follows the problem.
03
Process and planning
Scope, timelines and cost, and how we keep you in the loop.
How long will my project take?
It depends on scope, complexity and the systems involved. Once we understand what needs to be built, we can plan the work, agree priorities and give you a realistic view of timing, rather than guessing up front.
How much will it cost?
Cost depends on what is being built, so we do not publish fixed prices. After we understand the scope, we outline what is involved so you can make an informed decision before committing.
Will I see progress while you build?
Yes. The work should be understandable as it develops. You should always know what is being built and why, and have a chance to react before things go too far in the wrong direction.
Can you integrate with the tools we already use?
Usually, yes. Payment providers, commerce platforms, internal systems and third-party APIs are a regular part of our work. We identify integrations and dependencies early, during planning, so they do not become surprises later.
04
Launch and beyond
Getting live, and what happens once people start using the product.
Do you help with launch?
Yes. Launch includes production deployment, domain and hosting setup, commerce and payment flows, analytics and final checks, so the work is ready for real users and not just working in development.
Will you stay involved after the product goes live?
If you want us to. Launching is often the beginning. Once people use the product you learn what works and what does not, and we can stay involved to fix issues, improve what exists and build what comes next.
What does ongoing engineering involve?
Ongoing improvements, new features, performance work, technical maintenance and product iteration. It suits products that keep changing as the business grows.
Still curious?

Tell us what you are working on and what you want to know. You will hear back from the people who would actually build it.
